Victory Cup 2026
What a fantastic turnout on Saturday, with 140 competitors taking part in the first singles “major” of the year!
Our winner, Archie Douglas, handled the pace beautifully, carding a brilliant nett 66 to just edge out Ted Howard in second place on nett 67 🏆

Bank Holiday Monday saw over 120 competitors take part in the fourball betterball format, with another year of impressively low scoring.
1st with nett 63 were Rupert Bolingbroke and Jamie Harrison 🏆

A sunny but chilly morning saw Lesley Mason play Anita O’Donoghue in the final of the Womens Holbrook Scratch Plate.Sponsor & referee Ann Gems oversaw the match, with Lesley eventually winning on the 18th! Captain Zaline Iqbal presented Lesley with the plate on a packed patio!

Sunday at MGC saw the 36-hole Men’s John Clipsham Final. Paul Hollingworth and Conor Higgins, took on James Howell and Ted Howard.

GCMA London & Home counties Christmas meeting.
With so many entries, it was spread over two courses Woking & Worplesdon, the presentation held at Woking. Various chip ins and long putts ensued, and my partner Geoff Marchesi and I managed to take home the trophy - Horrah! 🏆 ⛳️
