yall have got worms for brains
So a word Koreans use on a daily basis to compliment everything from food to someone’s looks, charm, or vibe suddenly has to be changed or forbidden just because y’all can only attach a sexual meaning to it?
we are waiting for you to take action once and for all and defend your artist Yeonjun and SUE people that are spreading harmful misinformation against him affecting him as an artist and person @TXT_bighit@BIGHIT_MUSIC@TXT_members
as a moa and a normal person with fucking EMPATHY it really saddens me how people and their own company have treated txt since debut. txt have done nothing problematic in their career, they constantly prove how hard they work on every album and song of theirs, they can sing and dance and have proved how talented they are over and over again, they even worked hard to make sure they weren’t producing tiktok slop like other artists only to receive barely any promotion compared to other artists in their company. not only that but it feels like yearly there is a random hate train for literally no reason towards at least one member of the group when all txt does is mind their own business and work extra hard to prove how good they are to others. not only that, but just because they’re (unfortunately) under hybe it’s made the hate trains towards them sooo much worse. it’s so fucking frustrating as a fan having to constantly see antis pretend to care about serious things only to fuel their fanwars towards a group they don’t like for no fucking reason on twitter.
싫어하는 아티스트를 까내리기 위해 아기를 이용해서 그런 생각을 떠올리는 니들이 더 역겹고 끔찍하다🤮 한국인들이 친절히 그런 뜻이 아니라고 설명해줘도 뭔 씹선비들마냥 우기고 있어 니들이 한국인보다 한국문화 더 잘 알아? 케이팝을 좋아하면 한국문화를 이해하기 위해 최소한의 노력이라도 좀 해봐라
all of these discourses reminds me that in philippines, 'puto' is a snack but in colombia it is an offensive word. it just means that one word from one country can mean differently in another country
Honestly, now that K-MOAs are stepping up to clarify the whole issue, if these kpop stans will still not believe actual Korean native speakers over a rough, out of context translation of a language they don't dominate, I'm calling them all idiots from now onwards. Point blank.
“he should know” as if brits dont know what f*g means to americans and still choose to use it online because it don’t mean the same thing in their dialect like Have We Considered that we are not one human monolith and are entitled to use our native tongues in their own contexts
We use word "sexy" to call something "cool", "handsome", and "attractive", even to things like food, designs, and anything that is just impressive or aesthetically pleasing.
Yes, it's also used to call someone "sexually attractive", but context behind the use matters most.
seeing people arguing with literal koreans about THEIR language and culture all because they want to be able to continue to drag yeonjun is so crazy kpop stans are not real
