The racist, Islamophobic tropes used by many Members of Congress are intended to suppress our voices and incite violence against us. It’s disgusting how many of my colleagues are silent when hate is directed like this against Arabs and Muslims.

They tried three times to make a hug emoji and they're all bad. First gives emoji man tiny little freaky hands coming out of his neck, and he's way too excited. Second is literally just hands. Third one is so grey it seems like someone died. I have no productive proposal

But the romantic idea of secretly buying an expensive ring and using it to propose to someone who isn't expecting to be asked is not a great model for other reasons. You really don't want their answer—in either direction—to be influenced by the feeling of having been surprised!

I appreciate folks taking up for Tim Walz's son, but be careful. It's not OK that he cried because "sure he's a guy but he's also neuro-atypical." It's OK that he cried bc it's OK for guys to cry, period. Normal people do it. Healthy people do it. Men who don't are the problem

So many replies to this tweet are like “oh so no Jews then huh?” And I just don’t see how these people arrive at the conclusion that the presence of Jews requires illegal occupation, annexation, settlement and racial segregation. I find it so problematic, even antisemitic

As tailoring has slowly disappeared from public life, clothiers have had to be more strategic from inventory. Gone are materials such as gabardine, whipcord, and cavalry twill. Most places primarily sell dark worsted, four-season suits in sober colors like black, navy, and grey.
