Windsor Law has a history of working with local and regional artists to commission pieces for spaces throughout our building. Many of our previous artwork prior to the renovation of Windsor Law was collected by Deans, like former Dean Jeff Berryman, who was responsible for a large portion of the our collection. During this past spring, Art Windsor Essex (AWE) catalogued, evaluated, and identified works in the collection for hanging in the renovated building. Artwork through the University of Windsor School of Law have been chosen for their visual impact and their contextual relationship with the faculty. As you stroll the halls between classes keep an eye out for all the incredible artwork around our building.

✊🏾The 16th session of the #EMRIP came to an end after five days of intense dialogue, concerns and proposals. ✍️🏾We discussed the coordination between the EMRIP, the UNPFII, the Special Rapporteur on Indigenous Peoples and the UN Voluntary Fund to advance our rights 🧑🏾‍⚖️The progress of the UNDRIP and the challenges for its respect in national legislations was one of the topics that attracted the greatest participation (webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1a/k1…). 🪖The rights of indigenous peoples in post-conflict situations and the decade of indigenous languages also received proposals for their advancement. And of course, the future work of the EMRIP and proposals for the HRC (webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1…) were also addressed (webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1o/k1…). A spiritual call was the knot that tied us together in the commitment to the rights of indigenous peoples (webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1l/k1…). See you next year!

Introducing Kahhori, the first Mohawk superhero. Never did I think I’d be able to bring a character like this to life; few roles mean as much as this one.
