Careful what you read on the internet. The best source of information about the SEC is the SEC.

📌 🫡A small tip for some EU🇪🇺/NA🇺🇸/AUS 🇦🇺 users, if u want to deposit quickly instead of bank transfer It is the way to use crypto but don’t buy through those hot wallet apps on mobile like exodus, metamask, trust wallet etc(like P4, they charge too much). If u buy directly those will take too much fees It is good to use exchanges like @krakenfx @binance (banned in some countries of EU) @bitgetglobal @Bybit_Official, they have p2p platform can buy (literally no fee in buying side) @coinbase is licensed in NA but have much fees, idk if only licensed, FTX b4 has low fees when exchange fiat to crypto @coinspot is licensed in AUS, good to use anyway, low fees

🚨ANTI-SCAM GUIDE🚨 Firstly, I am going to talk about API scam. When people want to give skins to their friends and they magically disappear, it usually has to do with an API scam. This scam cancels your current offers and creates new offers that go directly to the scammer's inventory. I suggest you not to enter in websites that are not 100% reliable or introduce your passwords on any non trustable website. If you don't know if you have done it already, you can delete your API and change the password. (just type in Google, how to remove/change Steam API key and it will tell you the steps to follow). Good. Now we have avoided the most basic scam. All we have to do now is dealing with scammers who pose as reputable traders and impersonators. To know if a trader is reputable you can use a couple of options. a) csgorep, a page created by @Martin_RGB in which real money traders gain reputation for past trades. b) Reputation on Twitter (mutuals and asking people). Although it is easy for someone who is very involved in the community to identify scammers, for someone new it can be difficult. The followers that a Twitter account has DO NOT indicate anything. What normally indicates this, it is the people who follow you. For example, if you are followed by very reputable traders and many people who are known to be trustworthy, usually that person will be trustworthy. And if you're not sure, ASK people who you know are reliable. I personally get 2-3 dms a day wondering if "x" person is trustworthy. If I know it is, I will say it, if not, I will not risk my name for someone who I don't know if they are reliable or not. I will help you selflessly and, like me, many people probably will too when you ask them about a person's reputation. I want to make it clear that HAVING MANY FOLLOWERS DOES NOT INDICATE THAT SOMEONE IS RELIABLE. In fact, many scammers buy bots to try to make their account look trustworthy. c) Regarding impersonators, just check whenever you are talking to real traders. Ask them on twitter/discord/steam or whatever it takes to confirm that they are the REAL people you are talking to and not someone who copied their steam/discord/twitter profile. It is a scam that works more times than it seems because people see good offers and fall for it like fools. Useful tips: 1) If someone offers you a deal that is very good, it will probably end up not being that good and your money will be scammed (always use buff.163 as a reference for prices). 2) Always check that the person is trusted. 3) Check 2, 3 or more times that the person you are talking to is the real one. 4) Change your password from time to time and use all possible security measures in place. It's a pain, but, in the long run, it will help us. 5) If in doubt, ASK in private messages or make a tweet with @ people you know are trustworthy. Generally, the community will always be willing to lend a hand. 6) Be logical and act by thinking things twice. Normally when we fall for scams it is because we do things quickly and haphazardly. If you have never made deals, be rested and make sure everything is fine before doing anything.
