ALT SITUATION OVERVIEW: Flash Flooding threat mainly focused across southeast South Carolina today. Rainfall amounts much lower across southeast Georgia. Potential for Tropical Storm Wind/Wind Gusts confined to mainly South Carolina coastal areas. Long term river flooding will inhibit recovery efforts at least into next week, possibly beyond Little to no impact expected from storm surge or tornadoes through the rest of the event.
ALT POTENTIALLY HISTORIC RAINFALL BRINGS AREAS OF CATASTROPHIC FLOODING THROUGH AT LEAST FRIDAY MORNING. Impacts will continue through mid-to-late week. Tropical storm force winds, storm surge, and some tornadoes also possible for portions of the area.
