Legalizing cannabis in Texas will automatically creat one of the largest cannabis markets in the nation. The potential revenue stream from this could fund our schools, #DefundTheCartels and alleviate property tax burdens for all. Vote for legal cannabis

If your workers don’t need physical presence or access to specialized equipment, you’re externalizing the cost of your incompetent management and leadership in the form of commuter carbon externalities. A carbon tax on commutes for jobs that can be done remotely would be great.

Two neighboring buildings: one with a 10-year-old child alone in it, the other empty except for a vessel containing 5 human embryos created yesterday using in-vitro technology. A tornado is about to destroy both buildings and you have time to save either the child or the embryos.

How can two people this smart not understand the distinction between regulation of speech *by government* versus policies set by other kinds of institutions? I'm pretty confident neither of them would support "free speech" for, e.g., leaking corporate secrets from their companies

Dear @IRSnews, BITE ME. Yours sincerely, ME
Austin @ATT fiber customers: some of you will lose your internet service soon. I’ve spent hours on hold over the course of a year, and I can’t get anyone to fix the downed fiber line in my back yard. About to cut it. Sorry.

This is horrific.
I'm no Python expert, but is this a super common bug? How do people use defaults without this happening? def x (y=[]): return y x() => [] x().append(10) x() => [10]
