We have had 2 years of AI and nothing has changed - X looks like Twitter, Amazon 2026 looks like Amazon 2024. Google looks the same. In effect these companies seem to have paid $ Billions to fix internal software bugs not the customer interface.

In Northampton (UK) my son had signed my voting form. I had to travel to the voting centre, get a new form and hand it in. It's not easy to cheat. If I'd sent it with my son's signature it would be rejected "signature mismatch". Postal voting is secure enough.

I read from AI 1/3 of Israelis (previous smokers) have taken up smoking up again because of the war. I noticed in an Israeli police drama they smoked.

Going through Tyler's 1911 Mauser: The stock isn't wood, the barrel isn't mirror finish black with markings like a crown, it has a scope. In fact what tells you it's a 1911 rifle? Even AI says it's a modern rifle perhaps up to 20 years old. Was $191.1 the price tag?

...and I hear the bolt position means it was not fireable.

I remember working in a Telecoms company and the rest of the team went on a European jaunt. The theory was to increase sales. I developed process ideas with a group of guys sat in a small office. The were responsible for interconnect charges - 83% of the company profits.

I thought Tony Blair was busy creating Blair City in Gaza. What progress has he made?

@Freqazoid26 You might like this tdoa discussion with claude where he builds an app to use 5 wavs but forgets he needs an origin so builds again. Then I ask for excel version. I haven't tested any of it. Too tired. claude.ai/share/94a2bb5e-1d1…

I think it would be better if the courtyard was a grid of say 5m. You then slide the microphones on the grid. Then let the excel do the rest. Calculating relative positions is always a nightmare.

Tony Blair could make a start by giving back his PM pension. What does he do with it - repair another mansion to sell? Most pensioners are in "absolute poverty" if they don't have a private pension. Does he want a new category "abject poverty" where they live on the street?

@Freqazoid26 Matt I asked Claude about the stairwell as a reflector:

You could give it the numbers and it would check them.

One critique by Claude was about Snell's law and determining the stairwell reflector surface as vertical or horizontal. It can screw it up.

Also I gave it your numbers.

The dremel scribing tool is key to the case - who bought it, when. Does it have DNA on it

In a poll conducted by the court 64% in Utah though Tyler Robinson was guilty. Can he have a fair trial in Utah?

The jet that had its GPS turned off (likely by Russia) resorted to what.. yes Galileo. Remember we spent £millions on Galileo and pulled out of a more secure Euro GPS because of Farage. The USA can also modify our GPS accuracy making missiles miss. My phone can use both.

Will Reform ban digital IDs/biometric analysis. Meaning you can burn your passport and stay home? No more trips abroad or to your Spanish holiday home except for Farage with his dual German passport.

This old app I built still works for me with my old API key. I think it could be rebuilt and avoid that old step. The Gemini models have expanded so it may be best to chose a later one e.g. Gemini 3.5 flash for a smarter result.
