100%. And if you are carrying a toxic burden, calming the immune system and controlling inflammation can be the first step: I love a Combo of AHCC, CBD, DIM, or Skullcap More importantly, getting the basics down is key: circadian biology, utilizing AMPK activation (when needed), hydration, etc First principles people
Cant believe this even needs to be said, but before you start any kind of “protocol,” make sure the clinician or practitioner you’re working with has ideally conclusive, or at least strongly indicative evidence that you actually have what you’re trying to “detox” from. Don’t just jump into something because you have a hunch or because you read about it online. Whether it’s heavy metals, mold, SIBO, or anything else you need confirmation, not speculation. You also have to consider your own biology at that specific point in time. What state is your system in? How resilient are you right now? Because some of these interventions can be aggressive, and if your body isn’t in a place to handle them, you can do more harm than good.

My favorite way to take BPC/KPV? Split the dose 4x per day. KPV half life is pretty short, so its best to dose frequently (IMO). Turns off NF-kb, ultimately 'quieting' the overactive inflammatory response. Amazing for Crohns and Colitis. I wish I had KPV when my Crohns was at its peak...

Throwing in some bamboo shoots for endotoxin binding. A nice to have when running a gut protocol, or just a routine cleanup.

Root cause approaches are key in overcoming chronic health issues. Taken from my blog post on mold: Ochratoxin A has been shown to devastate the microbiome, and even wipe L Reutri off the map. Might explain why many gut protocols don't stick in the end of the day. Mold is upstream of gut health.

Exposed to seed oils? Have autoimmune? Inflammatory load from gut issues? Liver issues? Wanna cell membrane max? VITAMIN E TOCOTRIENOLS. 40-60x more potent than tocopherols. Has been a major tool for my own healing, and utilized in many of my client protocols. 300mg is great.

I truly think the best binder is a multi spectrum binder. Has worked great for mold, metals, and endotoxins in my experience. Quicksilvers ultra binder has: - Charcoal - Apple pectin (the use Pectasol in here) - Chitosan (derived from shellfish great for mold) - Zeolite - Silica (their thiol based IMD blend, great for all metals including aluminum) - Clay

Estrogen dominance can be a major block when clearing toxins through bile. Some women in the third trimester of pregnancy develop cholestasis (impaired bile flow). Hint estrogen is highest in third trimester. Bile clears estrogen, but to much estrogen blocks bile. In the world of xenoestrogens this is all the more important. You cant detox if bile is locked.

Supplement shipment has arrived! Because I dont have a colon, its extremely easy for me to release with SIBO if I am not careful. I stacked up on some gut supps. My three favorite products: - Quicksilver BPC KPV - Quicksilver Herbal bitters (best bitters on the planet) - Quicksilver GHKCU Quicksilver supplements are easily the best on the planet. Their nano liposomes are insane!

DIM, a supplement I utilize often, is most commonly known for its ability to help metabolize estrogen (works great here). Yet, it is also a fantastic immune compound. With autoimmune, It works by stabilizing the regulatory T cells that act as your immune system's peacekeepers. The healthier those are, the less self-driven inflammation we get from autoimmune.

One of my favorite products for mold and heavy metal detox: -Glutathione -L-Ergothioneine (potent sulfur based selective antioxidant from mushrooms with an affinity for the mitochondria) -PC -Selenium -Vitamin C Even used this for my wife when we were worried about preeclampsia (studies on preeclampsia and Ergothioneine). She never ended up developing it, and I think it was due to this product.
