Violation of basic human rights and an extreme level of Mental torture by @IndiGo6E and @TurkishAirlines ,@TK_HelpDesk #6E17 #TK4751 To begin with, My wife was scheduled to travel via Turkish Airlines from Ahmedabad To Toronto on 6th Of March,2024 AMD-BOM;BOM-IST;IST-YYZ My wife reached BOM at 12.30 AM on 7 March,2024 from AMD (Via Turkish Airlines Flight 4668;Airbus A320-100/200;Operated by Indigo) Coming to the second leg of the journey; Her second flight for BOM to IST was scheduled to depart at 6.40 AM for BOM to IST (Istanbul) (Via Turkish Airlines Flight 4751;Boeing 777-300ER;Opertaed by Indigo-Flight 6E17) The series of delays have kicked in for the same flight;The first delay was announced for 10.40,then pushed to 11.40,and later to 14.40; By now my wife had already missed her Istanbul to Toronto connection due to the delay for BOM-IST flight In the afternoon;a hotel room was offered to my wife for merely two hours that too on a sharing basis with a completely unknown individual. The ordeal was far from over; The passengers were brought back to the airport again at 19.00 from their hotel stays. They have been issued another boarding pass for an updated Turkish Airline boeing for BOM to IST Shockingly enough,the series of delays have kicked in again for this updated boeing; The next delay was announced for 22.40,and later pushed to 1 AM(the following day)Almost 24 hours of delay without any accountability from turkish or indigo had frustrated every passenger and their families.Eventually,the flight was deemed inoperable by Indigo Officials. Hence,the airline officials have cancelled the flight after torturing the passenegers for more than 24 hours. Throughout this ordeal;there were elderly passengers on wheelchairs,families with young children';individuals with medical conditions, and foreign nationals hoping to reach their final destinations. The passengers were seeking the answers;However both the airlines were busy in ignoring the passenger's concerns. Neither any of the passengers have been guided nor they have been assisted during this entire situation. My wife got her luggage At 4.30 AM on 8th of March,2024; She was present at the BOM airport since 1 AM on 7th March,2024 in the hope that Airline will take some accountabiliy and resolve the issue soon. She had been waiting for more than 24 hours to get the answers. It has been a nightmare for my wife and for every passenger who has been treated like an insult. After cancelling the flight at midnight;airline authority had denied any alternative route for the same destination; Moreover,All the passengers had to book their new flight connections and a temporary stay around Mumbai International Airport. The experience felt like torture and harassment inflicted by @IndiGo6E & @TK_HelpDesk .From the exhausting check-in process to the chaos of Immigration, and the frantic rush to the gate,passengers endured immense hardship. The Airlines have not yet issued any refund/compensation for the cancelled flight.   Please revert at the earliest & I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
