Arrival of the Third MC-55A Peregrine
The third @AusAirForce MC-55A Peregrine has arrived at đź“Ť RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.
The MC-55A Peregrine is a first-of-type, airborne intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and electronic warfare (ISREW) capability for the Australian Defence Force.
The aircraft will be operated by 10SQN and based at đź“Ť RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA.

The U.S. Army HADES jets are based on the Global 6500 and will be equipped with radar and SIGINT sensors to provide long-range sensing and targeting.

The Australian Border Force has selected Metrea to operate three Global 6500 maritime surveillance bizjets and eight turboprop aircraft, starting in 2028.
The bizjets will likely be the first @Bombardier Global 6500s modified into dedicated maritime surveillance platforms.

Canada has decided to move forward with Saab GlobalEye as its new airborne capability for Airborne Early Warning and Control. I look forward to welcoming Canada into the GlobalEye family.
GlobalEye is a highly modern and capable system that now has earned the trust of a fourth country, in addition to Sweden, France and the UAE.
By operating Global Eye, Canada strengthens its ability to safeguard their sovereignty while contributing to NATO’s collective defence, including being a vital asset for surveillance and control of the Arctic region.
As the GlobalEye is based on the Canadian Bombardier Global 6500 platform, GlobalEye is already creating jobs in Canada, and working with the Canadian supply chain. This decision ties our two nations even closer together.

It appears the ARTEMIS jet (N488CR) is being sold after 6 years of contractor-owned, contractor-operated SIGINT missions for the U.S. Army.
The sale details 1,224 flights totalling 9,533 hours, and a “mission-configured interior with equipment racks and operator provisions.”

I received some stunning photos of the U.S. Army’s AISR primary HADES testbed N488CR at Hamilton Municipal Airport from a follower of mine. Visible is a brand new dorsal hump and additional antennas under the belly.
