Hallie Johnson goes to state for a third time as runner-up. Little 7th grader Taylor Novacek had a fantastic 2nd round to vault her into fourth. She'll go to state.

The 1st round of the 1AA girls golf meet was today in Rochester.
Lake City is leading by 7 strokes over Lourdes, 10 ahead of PIZM, 11 ahead of Red Wing. Tight race there.
Red Wing's Hallie Johnson is tied for the individual lead with a 77. She is the defending section champ.
