On this, the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we're proud to highlight CBC's First Nations, Métis and Inuit-led podcasts.
Today also happens to be #InternationalPodcastDay.

COVID-free for the first time since March 26, 2020! 🎉 This is the first time the MSICU at Toronto General does not have any COVID patients. We are very grateful for the extraordinary MSICU team! #ThankYou
A huge shoutout to @ETHPnews and @MGHToronto for the highly organized and efficient pop-up clinic at Warden Hilltops yesterday. Great staff working there all around. And it wouldn’t have been possible without @VaxHuntersCan of course for the heads up on expanded eligibility.
Re-reading @guygavrielkay’s wonderful Under Heaven and was delighted to hear @99piorg’s “12 Heads from the Garden of Perfect Brightness.” While certainly not contemporaneous, enjoying the immersion in Chinese dynastic history and the long thread therein. Cc @romanmars @vivianhle

Notice how police were deployed in large numbers to arrest pro-democracy demonstrators while armed white mobs are allowed to disrupt the ballot counting process without police interference.
Many of Toronto’s bike lanes are not permanent, they are part of #ActiveTO. If City Council does not hear support from constituents, they could be ripped out faster than they were installed. Sign the petition to keep ActiveTO now. cycleto.ca/KeepActiveTO@CycleToronto
Drivers, remember to share the road with cyclists. When turning right, make sure you do not cut off a cyclist by checking your mirrors and blind spot. #sharetheroad
My @TorontoStar column this week: tens of thousands of cyclists were counted riding closed-to-cars sections of Toronto roads. No one should be surprised.
The trend is clear — make streets safe and welcoming for cyclists, and they’ll show up.

Ahead of tomorrow’s #ActiveTO & #bikeTO lane vote at Council we’ve seen a lot of support from local businesses. #BikesMeanBusiness in our city & around the world. Businesses are looking forward to people riding into their neighbourhoods soon.
