This isn’t a new thing, this is culture passed down through generations. Today in the highlands of Fiji, old women will not only put cloths and masi on a new car, they still do a meke too. Just like how they used to do to a new Drua or Bavelo in the olden days.

Why is family planning in Fiji mostly pushed on women..pills, injections, tubal ligation with all the side effects & risks? Vasectomies are safer, cheaper, quicker, & highly effective. Time to promote male responsibility too. Healthcare shouldn’t burden women disproportionately.

Stopped taking my autistic son to church. We always get judged for 'disrupting' the service. Last time, a lady told us to go sit outside. I'd rather serve God at home than endure these self-righteous bible thumpers who forget what compassion looks like. Faith isn't performance.

Seriously? My Dad did EVERYTHING. After my parents separated, my Dad did homework, laundry, cleaning and cooking while teaching & studying for his PhD. This man makes a MEAN chili, an incredible lemon meringue pie & the best pumpkin pie I've ever had. Love for baking = Him 🩵
