October's gold distribution recap: 1. Another solid 11M gold distribution, maintaining consistency from previous months. 2. Thrilled to see the ecosystem growing with new dapps joining the gold list: @infinex_app snagging 50k gold; @djenncoin with 30k gold for Jennilady and the culture; @MegaPoolParty and @blastroulette, both scoring 10k gold (Blast Roulette, I owe you a reply and I’ll be in touch soon). 3. After bouncing back from the exploit, @earlyfans_xyz is making waves with a massive 276k gold allocation. Happy for you guys, expecting some serious activity this October from one of the most creative platforms in the space. 4. Major props to @predictdotfun for securing a 1.1M gold allocation and Platinum tier status - matching @fantasy_top_’s Diamond-tier allocation. (And no, for those still asking, Zora doesn’t have a hero card). 5. Shoutout to @GangsterArena for leveling up from Bronze to Silver - jumping from 42k gold last month to 184k gold in October. 6. Another shoutout to @FenixFinance for also upgrading to Silver, leaping from 64k to 276k gold. With their TGE on the horizon, it’s great to see the Blast team doubling down on the project. 7. On the upgrade train, @ikbdotgg is the new Platinum player on the block, moving from 427k gold (Gold tier) to 553k in October. 8. @munchables also made a move from Bronze to Silver, landing a 193k gold allocation this month. 9. The average gold allocation per dapp dropped by around 10-20% this month, as the same 11M gold was spread across more dapps, alongside some major dapp upgrades and Predict scooping up 10% of the total allocation. 10. I was expecting a higher allocation for @scorefam_io this round, especially given their continuous innovation. Last month’s launch of the Iconcast wager pools brought in decent volume, showing their impact. That said, I’m confident they’re just getting started and they already have a few surprises in store. Very happy to see that more dapps doesn’t mean more gold is being distributed overall, which is bullish in my eyes. ------------- On another note, I'm hyped to see which dapps will move forward in the Big Bang Program. With over 200 applications, it's clear the competition is fierce. That said, I can’t hide my justified bias: I’m specially rooting for the @Pacbotapp team to make the cut. Their momentum in the ecosystem is undeniable, and the gang wars they’ve stirred up are driving insane activity and volume and they just keep delivering product updates.
