A burning cross is not a prank. It is not a misunderstanding. It is one of the most recognizable symbols of racial terror in American history. For generations, burning crosses were used to intimidate, threaten, and instill fear in Black communities. Seeing one set ablaze in a public park in 2026 is disturbing and unacceptable. Hate cannot be normalized, excused, or ignored. Those responsible must be identified and held accountable.

Charles Barkley says NO player would make $300,000,000 without Michael Jordan "People act like guys always made $30, 40, 50 million dollars. When I got to the NBA, the average salary was $200,000, and then Magic and Bird came" "I know I'm not as good as Bill Russell. Bill Russell made $2,000 and I was making $3 or $4 million, just because I was born at the right time. And not just the basketball and the money… Michael bought the shoes. People forget, nobody was doing commercials before Michael. Nobody was making money off shoes before Michael" "Now guys are making $300, 400 million dollars a year because of Michael. Secondly, we all got commercials, nobody made commercials before Michael Jordan came along"

Two Black boys running a lemonade stand received an unexpected show of support after someone called 911 on them. Instead of shutting them down, Kansas City police officers and firefighters showed up to support them, helping them earn hundreds of dollars. This is what community should look like! Investing in our youth instead off discouraging their entrepreneurship. ✊🏿

As a single woman now in my 50s, I never looked for a "father" for my two girls. Their fathers were NOT active in their lives but nevertheless I still got the job done. I dated a guy who didn't have children at the time and I never looked for him to do one thing for mines. 1/2
Alright ladies, I saw something and I have a question: If you have kids and you get married, do you look at your husband as being more responsible for the kids than their father?

I always kept long steady jobs. Had I married, I wouldn't looked at him for being responsible for my girls. I would have made it very clear that, that is NOT why I married him. But that's just me. 2/2
