On behalf of myself and others in my community this needs to said and said LOUD until people start listening. Persons with disabilities DO NOT receive enough benefits to cover even the most basic necessities. Rent, groceries, transportation, medications, or any emergencies that should arise. WE NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE if you can, REACH OUT. It doesn't need to be a grand gesture. $5 could be the difference between someone eating today or not!

I’m blind, disabled and living well below poverty. I recently moved to better my situation and the moving expenses took every dollar I had besides rent. Can anyone spare a few dollars to please help me recoup this money which is desperately needed for bills and groceries. $155/$460 ($305 remaining) Every dollar makes a difference.

Want to know why I don’t repost for everyone? Because this is what using a screen reader is like. What others can quickly skim over with their eyes, to scroll past posts that are of no interest to them, I must listen to every single one. It's ridiculous that you have to contact every single account you have with Service Canada to give a change of address and many of them won't let you do it online. Just more proof that the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing in our Govt 🤦♀️
