ALT Delighted to have been joined by @blindrunner777 Sinéad Kane and John O’Regan at our NSSO Leadership Conference.
Sinéad and John delivered a fascinating talk and spoke of the importance of planning, teamwork, collaboration, and communication in achieving their goals. Sinéad is the holder of a Guinness World Record for being the first blind person to complete a marathon on each of the seven continents, a feat which she completed in less than 7 days in January 2017.
Sinéad has overcome a lot of adversity throughout her life. She advocates on a daily basis to remove barriers in society that impact disabled people to create meaningful change within many areas.
John is Sinéad’s guide and coach. John himself is an Irish international ultra runner and adventurer.
