Our dedicated team is working diligently to ensure the safety and readiness of our schools. Here are the areas that our team is currently working on: - School Facilities Assessment:We are evaluating all our school facilities to determine their condition and readiness for reopening. Our priority is to ensure that our buildings are safe and operational for our students and staff. - End-of-Year Logistics: As we approach the end of the school year, we are finalizing procedures for grades, final exams, graduation, and other end-of-year processes. Please know that we are working to ensure a smooth and successful conclusion to this academic year. - Prioritization of High School Senior Events: Our seniors are a top priority, and we are committed to celebrating their achievements despite recent challenges. We are making every effort to ensure that senior events, including graduation ceremonies, proceed as planned, with all necessary adjustments for safety. - School Operations for Tomorrow - Thursday, May 30: We will provide updates on the status of school operations for tomorrow as soon as our assessments are complete. Your child's safety is our top concern, and we are committed to making informed decisions based on our evaluations. We are not planning to make up days and extend the school year if we can’t have school tomorrow. Stay Updated: Please continue to check our GISD communication channels for the latest updates.
