I strongly believe that F-16V would score higher than Gripen here. 16V has major advantages over Gripen E to begin with, given the APG-83, parts availabilty, ALQ-257 IVEWS electronic warfare suite, and other extensive aftermarket support.

We now know what those targeting symbols represent. The inverted and upright triangles visible in the pod FOV here are DMPIs (Desired Mean Point of Impact). They are weapon aimpoints plotted against target coordinates and assigned as the center of impact for weapon effects.

DMPIs can also have effect rings around them. These show the predicted blast frag and overall damage radius centered on the DMPI based on weapon type fuze settings, height of burst, and coordinate accuracy such as CE90. Helpful for spacing and collateral damage estimation.
