Hard to believe that a single spring pass with a yetter strip freshener can do that.

Question for those with speed tubes? We are not satisfied with the spacing we are achieving and thats with an average speed of 5.6mph over the season. We also are seeing a lot of maintenance costs running them. There are only a few fields where we can go 7 mph. We inspect meters and replace parts as needed. We always are getting 99.9% singulation but spacing does not seem accurate. This is 30 inch rows 28-34K population. Has anyone gone to bullseye seed tubes and been happy?

I should add that the speed tubes were completely rebuilt before this season.

I think we have one of our nicest soybean stands coming. Corn looks good too. Great start to the year and the strip till looks really good.

Day 15-17 We finished up all the planting on Sunday morning right before the rain. Sprayed 1300 acres of sunflower and bean pre in a 24 hour window. Now it’s time for some rest and rain.

Day 14 All custom corn acres are finished. Ended with a #farmweird plot testing different hybrids and seeding rates for alley crops, with cover crops in between. Tons of dirt blowing. Dad can't ever remember it being this bad.

Day 8 ended with a light rain. Does anyone else carry corn and beans in their seed tender at the same time?
