๐ถ M/HS Spring Concert ๐ถ
We celebrated spring with our MS band & chorus, and HS band & chorus. As a special treat, the Middle & High School choruses joined together to sing The Beatles' "Blackbird." The HS chorus also performed a nine-minute medley from Hamilton.

Avery Newstead competed at the NYC Bound Competition through the RBTL Stars of Tomorrow on Thursday. She was one of 40 students selected from regional high school musical productions this spring. We are so proud of Avery's accomplishment!

Our Environmental Sciences class explored a local wetland ecosystem at Muller Field Station through hands-on water quality testing and macroinvertebrate sampling. Students also learned about invasive species, human impacts, and ways to protect these important habitats!

Last week, our 2nd graders visited Tinker Nature Park to learn about local ecology by walking the trails and learning about honeybee biology. They got up close to animals they hadn't seen before and everyone came away with more knowledge about our ecosystem. ๐๐ฒ๐

๐ฆ The ZooMobile Visits BCS! ๐
Our UPK class was visited by the ZooMobile to learn about how animals use their senses. The animals included an African millipede (touch), bearded dragon (sight), Madagascar tree boa (smell), and mini three-banded armadillo (hearing).

Several seniors got to visit Artisan Works in Rochester last week where they saw artwork, climbed into a classic car, and got a behind-the-scenes tour of areas not usually open to the public. It was a fun & inspiring day!
