My name is Blossum and I'm a sakura tree spirit VTuber from Australia. 🦘 I love helping people and try to make resources and tips and tricks free to all content creators. I have guides and downloadables in my bio under "View more" if you ever want to check them out! However, I often start and don't finish projects so if you visit your bookmarks and go "wait, whatever happened to x?" feel free to prompt me to finish it (⌒_⌒;)! It actually reminds me that people are interested and waiting for it. I love art so much and own hundreds of pieces of my OC "Blossum". I've been using this username since around 2008, when I thought that's how "blossom" was spelt lol. Fun fact, someone offered me $50 for my username in 2020 on Twitch before I even considered streaming! I said no, obviously... I love pink, flowers and all things aesthetic! I have mostly pink assets; a custom keyboard, pink/white peripherals etc. But it's not the end of the world if I can't get everything pink and cute ( ´ ▽ ` ). I can afford these wonderful things in life because I work hard as a nurse by day. I'm about to start my masters to try leave the field. We get paid alright-ish, but after so many years I've learnt well that we're just numbers and it's all about money in the hospital, which is a huge shame. I love holding giveaways and getting people more art. Giving is one of my love languages, though I often get taken advantage of. I'm sorry if you try to interact with me and it seems like I don't want to make the effort to be closer friends. I will always help you with questions in my DM's! I am also sorry for not always responding on my texts, I get overwhelmed by my notifications very easily ;; My Twitter posting style is vastly different to my stream style. If you ever get a chance to visit me in my stream, I apologise in advance! Unfortunately, I stream in Australian evenings, which is a fantastic 6am for my friends across the world. I stream mostly League of Legends and play exclusively with my friend group that I've known for almost a decade, so there is never any toxicity ~ヾ(・ω・). We usually start by just chatting and like to play a few games like LoLdle, word salad, and recently the minute cryptic with chat. I usually disgust chat all the time by telling them some of my dislikes: strawberries, mangoes, pizza and coffee! I can't help it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. In League, I love playing Nami and Soraka, but my favourite champion of all time is Vel'Koz and I named my cat "Vel"! He often appears on my stream and I turn on my webcam if he jumps on my bed or lays in my lap. I actually have a kitty toggle on my model you can see on my reference sheet (pinned)! My other mascot is the chat mascot, the bird in the image below. He's a fat little guy who is animated when text-to-speech goes off! This year I want to develop more content creation. I'm quite slack with picking up my projects as I said before... I'd like to finally turn my guides into videos and upload them. I'd like to get back into ASMR. But there's just so much, it feels overwhelming, you know? It's strange being very lazy and very organised. Somehow, I've tricked my body into getting up on the first ring of my first alarm always, but I can't be bothered updating my apps, redeems, and toggles... im not saying people SHOULD spend this much but for me it was worth it. my purpose as a vtuber... as a content creator in general is to keep bringing wonder and amazement to my viewers. no matter how much time, effort, money i need to spend, everything is worth it for them!

vtubers almost never talk about money but im gonna self report here :) i finally got around to doing my taxes (i know i know, yes i did get an extension) and my total earnings in 2025 was a whopping $3,537.29 USD. now I obviously have a spending problem: - $20k on my Otaku★STAGE! concert - $7k on art/music comms (believe me this is an improvement from 2024) - $5k on other content assets like second outfit, chibi model, 3D model, etc. those are NOT mandatory to be a vtuber, just what i wanted to do to entertain my community the way in every way i could. my other expenses like rent ($15k), food, cat food, etc. are more reasonable but also add to the bill a lot of people have also asked me "girl, ARE YOU RICH??" lol i wish, i just had decent savings that i was willing to completely dedicate to my vtuber dream. that being said, i do have to start being a lot more responsible with my spending 😅 because those savings are pretty much out

For transparency, in 2025: ⟡ Ko-fi: $200 ⟡ Twitch: $2.9k ⟡ Comms: -14.3k I spent a small salary on art and assets in 2024, but I'm happy that I spent much less in 2025 (٥⁀▽⁀ )... I'm lucky that I am able to have a job as a nurse, not be renting, and have many people to support me. I try to hold many giveaways and give back to my community so they can also experience having fabulous art. The money I put in is for the love of the game, for myself and for my viewers. Any money that goes in goes straight towards comms and supporting the art community ! Thank you so much. ❌💰 No funds to hire an editor ? I bring great news ! Did you know that the latest Twitch Update came with Automatic Subtitles - you can upload clips with subs straight to your short form feed ! It's easier than ever to start uploading TikToks, reels and shorts. Everyone SHOULD know by now that subtitles generate more views than clips without them - so take advantage of this free feature ! Since for many of these sites, quantity is really important. And a lot of the time, that short you spent 0 effort on gets more views than something you spent hours in the shrimp position trying to edit... 😔 💡 TIP: If you like doing as little editing as possible, a quick tip to getting the perfect clip is to add a "stream marker" to your quick actions panel or stream deck & press this key/button to add a timestamp to the VOD, so that you can come back to it and time the clip perfectly. Tick "add subtitles" when you make the clip to ensure it saves with subtitles. They aren't perfect, of course, but this is for low effort uploading - which is better than not uploading at all !

Next shop product preview This one will include a version without the "stream starting" etc. so you can also use it as a stream overlay for playing videos etc!
