Words fail me as I write this. We, Bishops, Priests and lay people are deeply pained and distressed at the Jaranwala incident in the Faisalabad District in Pakistan. A church building is being burnt as I type this message. Bibles have been desecrated and Christians have been tortured and harrased having been falsely accused of violating the Holy Quran. We cry out for justice and action from law enforcement and those who dispense justice and the safety of all citizens to intervene immediately and assure us that our lives are valuable in our own homeland that has just celebrated independence and freedom. #CryWithUs #PrayWithUs

Or maybe Pence was increasingly concerned about what was brewing and wanted NO part in it. Maybe he documented conversations in the event he might get sucked into an investigation of what he feared might happen. Trump and associates were becoming dangerously unhinged.

I find this revelation especially revolting and sickening to the stomach and gut. From day 1, President Donald J. Trump was surrounded by traitors. There were persistent rumors that Pence was secretly conspiring with Trump's enemies to use the 25th Amendment to declare him incompetent so he could assume the presidency. Even now, #Pence seems to be expecting the downfall of #Trump to benefit him. I have always been uncomfortable with his holier-than-thou persona and the frequent use of his faith as a campaign asset.
