Aromia moschata remains a rare longhorn beetle in Scotland so it was fantastic to find three on Angelica in fen woodland at Glenlee (VC73) this week - a very large and impressive creature @NLonghornRS @swseic
Absolute scenes at Loch Awe, Argyll (VC98) when a moth trap session turned into a beetle drive. These are some of the 71 Necrodes littoralis recovered from three traps at Cruachan PS @AshWhiffin @SilphidaeUk About 5% were red forms. What a carri-on!
