It probably wasn't character assassination in the movie since she was kidnapped and given practically nothing else to do, the movie's false advertising I'd like to imagine killed the hype.

it's sad how not a single person even cares about rosalina anymore
it's so painful for me to be the only one out there who felt emotionally upset and betrayed after i had to watch her go through blatant character asassination in the movie
she deserves better going forward.
