No matter what happens, dont run away from God, because God always understands us.” gave me the courage to return to church again

DIRECTOR’S NOTE EP3 #TicketToHeavenEP3 : this is a scene that is quite emotionally intense and visually clear from the very moment the script was written. we spent quite a long time designing the atmosphere of this scene. we chose the most ordinary location, a shared bathroom, as the setting for this event. we also brought back elements from the first night Barth arrived, whether it was the falling rain, lightning or the flickering lights (😭👏🏻) although the surroundings were filled with people, chaos, rain sounds and lightning flashes, what happened inside Barth and Tanrak was likely far louder than that. many scenes in the story also had to be adjusted to match the real on-location setting. interestingly the doors and metal grates in this place helped create a visually interesting dimension and reflected the characters’ emotions without needing explanation. once we saw this scene in its completed version, we felt very satisfied bc every element gradually fulfilled its role and guided the scene in the direction we wanted 👏🏻👏🏻

i revisited the confession scene in the novel and realised in the dialogue there barth doesnt actually ask "are you mad at me?" after the first kiss with tanrak that he initiates,,, its so devastatingly beautiful in the show 💔 #TicketToHeavenEP3

can we talk abt how they made the jelly ad mesh well into telling the story?? it sounds so bare minimum for a show to do it properly but knowing they only have 1 hour per ep they managed to get a good shot of the product while letting it add value to barthtanrak's relationship

and i know its still ep preview so far but even his "we can take it slow" (for ep 4) is so gentle n reassuring while tanrak wants to peel his own skin and eat barth and himself from want . whatever guys

let me just . i adore that g4’s natural different demeanors work perfectly in synch with the characters in this case. rak’s just had his whole world crash down on him after agonizing long days of desire he will CONSUME that boy with every fiber of his being and let it consume himself afterwards, he will fuse their faces and souls into one immediately if he can. while barth is in awe that he finally got to confirm his biggest wish and that perhaps the most precious, delicate thing in his life right now is there, in his arms, and it’s his to cherish.
