There’s a huge stigma regarding books that relate to any media (TV, movies, video games, etc.)
I think we would have a major growth in society if people read within their interests.
I’m just an English teacher so I am biased.
Are books that are “required” reading for Halo games always a bad thing? Let me propose something to think about:
Reading The Fall of Reach book is absolutely required just to understand the *first* line of Halo CE.
But is that line, or the game itself, any less impactful if someone didn’t read the book? Clearly, no. And that’s true for every other Halo book/video game combo.
Books are rewards for those so invest in them but never required to understand the game’s story.
