Just had a lovely birthday lunch with friends, and the waiter asked what language they spoke. When he heard ”Ukrainian,” he said, ”Slava Ukraini!” and switched to Russian, (my friend doesn’t speak German) and it all ended with hugs. Turns out Croatians support Ukraine, too. 🇺🇦🇺🇦

CBS NEWS: Trump reportedly visited Walter Reed but did NOT meet with six soldiers wounded in the deadliest Iran attack of the conflict. And that is the part causing backlash. The White House says the president met with other troops during the visit. But according to CBS, the six service members injured in the Port Achebe attack were there receiving treatment… and Trump chose not to visit them. Critics are asking a simple question: How do you launch the operation, praise the mission, hold the photo-ops… but not make time for the soldiers wounded in the deadliest attack connected to it?
