Well done to Palace. Always liked them. It does, however, seem to be a failure if you're in the Conference or the Europa League and don't actually win them.

Maybe we took Pierce Brosnan for granted as 007. This guy was the perfect Bond at the perfect time - he was exactly what this franchise needed in the late ‘90s. I’ve said it before but I would love a reboot with Brosnan as an older, retired Bond pulled back into the force.
Pierce Brosnan never stopped looking like 007

Rather oddly, had a Sunderland friend sent a list of potential opponents. A little weird. They haven't been in Europe since Ted Heath was Prime Minister. I had to remind him, on no occasion, have I ever sent him a list of potential European opposition over the years...

Why I get so frustrated with the #Isak excuse #NUFC #Howe @LoadedMagNUFC Bournemouth lost nearly half their team, an look how they’ve performed under #Iraola this season 🤷🏼‍♂️ credit to them 👏🏼 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Bournemouth sold *check notes* Zabarnyi for £57m, Huijsen £50m, Kerkez £40m, Ouattara £45m and Semenyo for £65m in January for a very grand total of £257m *checks maths. not a strength*. Bournemouth continued playing attractive, winning football, ending the season unbeaten in 18, sixth in the table and qualified for Europe for the first time ever in their 127 years. Iraola has done a magnificent job – and so has Bournemouth’s recruitment department. Kroupi and Scott the latest gems being polished. Senesi, a £12m signing from Feyenoord four years ago, leaves a free agent to Spurs with plenty of good wishes following his fine defensive service over 128 games. Bournemouth get good value out of players and/or good value for them. Well-run club. Pity that Iraola is leaving and missing out on the European adventure that he helped secure. Leaves team in good shape for incoming Rose. Coaches and players...it's all in the succession planning. #AFCB

Very sad news. Michael Keating has died aged 79. Loved him as Vila in Blake's 7, and so many other roles ranging from EastEnders to Yes Minister

My bank account will be grateful we aren't in Europe next year, especially that ridiculous Conference League - it's a posh version of the Intertoto.
