Today is our birthday…. 😍🎉
7 years ago today we started!
We’ve seen….
A relegation, a reprieve, a season in COVID, a survival, a promotion, beating Villa, L1 football, a Play Off season and who knows what next…👀
Thanks to everyone for supporting and listening! ❤️
We can confirm that Charlie Goode has left Stevenage FC following the expiry of his contract.
Everyone at Stevenage would like to thank Charlie for all his efforts and commitment in a Boro shirt, and we wish him all the best for the future.
Summer Site Update:
Now it's June, we'll be having a bit of a break/content freeze over the next few weeks to get ourselves ready for the new season... and maybe do things differently going forward (1/2)
So, what we're already thinking:
🔎 We'll be a much more static, resource-based site
📰 Far less 'editorial' - no Statpacks, no deadlines
📵 Our Facebook/Insta will officially go dormant
Won't be as active on here or Bluesky
(2/2)
And disappointed for Stockport's sound fans (of which there are many), but for the quite numerous minority who needlessly ran over to goad us in the away end after the second leg of the semi-final, for absolutely no reason, FUCK YOU 😘
Thrilled we don't have to play Bolton again after never having beaten them (D3 L5), and delighted for Schuey.
Disappointed for Challinor and Stockport's players (especially Addai, who was class after the second leg against us) who have done fantastically in recent seasons.
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table.
The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.

Many people forget just how consistently brilliant he was for us before his injury, because he had a few dodgy games afterwards, then never regularly played again.
In his 67 matches for us in the EFL he kept 29 clean sheets and conceded just 62 goals, making many stunning saves.
My time at @StevenageFC has come to an end after eight years at this wonderful club. ❤️
Finishing on a season to be incredibly proud of, I've worked with some brilliant people and am hugely grateful to everyone who has played a part in the journey.
UTB. ✌️
Dive below the gloomy surface and you'll find a good few player milestones to celebrate this week.

Credit to the Stevenage fans. They cop a lot of stick by the attendance police 😴 but they were superb last night and sang all night.
Good luck to them next season.
