Fantastic day spent in the Shard for the @GEHealthCare Clinical Obstetric Study Day on improving women’s health. The Voluson E22 has incredible AI and allows for more time with the patient. #improvingpatientcare
Beautiful chess sets on display @purlingltd for their ‘Art of the Game’ exhibition. My late partner Andy would have particularly liked the limited edition Butterfly backgammon set.
I’ve really enjoyed listening to fabulous research presentations and poster presentations today @EDCNS#EDCNS. I also had the opportunity to present my poster. Thank you @EDCNS for a wonderful conference.
I’m very happy to be in Graz, Austria for the European Doctoral Conference in Nursing Sciences @EDCNS#EDCNS. Very interesting lectures and science slams this morning. I’m looking forward to presenting my research and poster tomorrow: #informedconsentinantenatalscreening
Today’s Obstetric’s meeting has been a huge success so far, with phenomenal speakers, like Dr Nia Jones, and Ms Alexandra Drought delivering insightful talks! More photos to come next week.
Delighted to be selected as one of the 12 semi-finalists of the #ThreeMinuteThesis competition. Such a clever way to disseminate one’s research findings.
It was a pleasure to attend this year’s PGR doctoral summer school 2024 @LSBU@LSBU_HSC Superb posters and presentations showcasing fantastic research. I was delighted to present, display my research poster and thrilled to win the 3 minute thesis competition. Thank you LSBU.
It was a pleasure to present my preliminary research findings @BMUS_Ultrasound yesterday on informed consent in antenatal screening. Another very interesting conference and great to see so many familiar faces.

The govt’s workforce plan will make the NHS a second tier service staffed by second rate staff. It will maintain the NHS in name only, forcing more people - both staff and patients - into the private sector - a political decision about not raising taxes, especially on property.
The second half of the Uterine Artery Study day did not disappoint. Great lectures by Professor Christoph Lees and Dr Robin Hughes @BMUS_Ultrasound Is uterine artery Doppler demonstrating spiral artery modification or maternal cardiac output?
Half way through the study day on Uterine Artery Doppler @BMUS_Ultrasound. It was a pleasure to speak and an even greater pleasure to listen to the other fabulous speakers.
I’m looking forward to reading the NHS workforce plan, particularly who is going to train all the new staff? Existing students and trainees lament the lack of training. Unless we retain the trainers, and protect time for training, we can’t teach the trainees.
Gynaecology Ultrasound is highly specialised - the more you know, the more you see, the better quality the diagnosis, the faster the patient is helped and the less money is spent on potentially unnecessary CT/MRI/surgery....Specialising the workforce more than pays for itself!
