We are excited to announce the appointment of Robert Amboree as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach. With 22 years of coaching experience, Coach Amboree is already a valued member of the Pantherette family, currently serving as the First Assistant Varsity Coach for the Girls’ Basketball Team. He has played a key role in our team's remarkable achievements, including guiding them to the 6A Division I Regional Finals Championship Game during the 2024-2025 school year and leading the team to victory in the 6A Division I State Championship in 2023-2024. In addition to his work at Duncanville, Coach Amboree has extensive experience as a Head Girls’ Basketball Coach at Fort Bend ISD. He has also served as the Head Basketball Coach for the Cy-Fair Nike Elite and DFW Elite Athletic Union basketball teams. Throughout his career, Coach Amboree has been committed to coaching and athletics year after year. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy and Kinesiology from Houston Christian University and is certified in Physical Education and Special Education. With a proven track record of developing winning strategies, motivating athletes, and fostering a team-oriented culture, Coach Amboree is poised to continue elevating our program.
