The market didn't crash in 1995. It went 5 more years before it did. The market can be irrational for longer than you can afford to be right.
Stock market crash 1995 vs 2026 Same pattern: 1995: Huge overvalued Palm IPO -> Dot-Com Bubble crash 2026: Huge overvalued SpaceX IPO -> AI Bubble crash coming Remember that I was first to warn you

Champion Fund is the first PE-like vehicle to give unaccredited retail investors diversified access to a portfolio of privately held sports companies. The proverbial mom-and-pop investor can buy into the fund for as little as $500, or $5K if through a retirement account 👇

I don't quite agree. I think self-professed need-blind schools use certain sports as signals kids probably will pay full freight (an idea Malcolm Gladwell fleshed out). The loser sports are probably the ones they're not sure — swimming, track, tennis — that never generate revenue
Nick Saban believes if there’s not any regulations put on NIL and collectives soon, Olympic sports in all NCAA schools will be shut down solely in favor of paying football and basketball. Power schools are now spending $30 million annually on rosters.

Please don't give oxygen to these "best cities for" press releases. they are the world's most annoying PR spam and are always stupid. I live in the best city for getting stupid PR releases.
WalletHub just ranked Boston the best city in the United States for hockey fans. Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern, and the Bruins helped push the city to #1 overall. 🥇 #1 Overall 🏒 #2 NHL City 🎓 #1 NCAA Hockey City

The @WNBA and @NWSL now air on at least a dozen channels. That dynamic is forcing companies to rethink how their women’s sports marketing campaigns are measured and monetized. Successful activations now require digital media, social media, athlete creators, and onsite. 👇

As an out of market baseball fan, MLB TV is basically the least tiresome way to be a fan. I get every game except those on ESPN and Apple and the in-market games. So ~142 of 162 games, audio for the others.
Yes, more people likely have access to Amazon Prime Video than ESPN (or previously, TNT). But among sports fans who are used to paying for those channels, I'm not sure that gap exists. And even still, the experience of watching multiple things at once is exhausting.

I literally had to go confirm BC was that decent at any point in time since firing Jags. The Dazzler really fumbled the end of that season.
