Brennan beclowns herself when she wades toward politics. She should stick to only the stuff inside the white lines.
CNN did a segment on Freddy, the German soccer tourist, and sports analyst Christine Brennan claimed "I saw some conversation, Wolf and Pamela, about how the rest of the world is looking at the United States and feeling that we are—it's a foreboding image and that we are inhospitable...But how wonderful again, that sports can bring people here and show people that the United States and you know, the South is welcoming a German tourist in a way we would never have anticipated" Who is "we"?

If you get rid of mail ballots you do not need signature matching. Vote in person.
Jun 12
Elias: Why does California have signature matching? They have it to satisfy the same right-wing zealots who claim there’s fraud, right? So they do this whole kabuki theater that takes all of this time in order to contend with the fact that people say that if you don’t do signature matching, there’s going to be fraud. And then they get attacked for taking the time to do that very thing. The fact that the New York Times thinks there’s a middle ground here… Here’s my message: I don’t compromise with Republicans because there is no middle ground between a firefighter and an arsonist, and they are trying to burn down democracy.

One of the Big Lies of the left is that the government can “make investments.” It cannot, as it only has access to the capital created by others, and it only gets it by confiscation. It is not the government’s money - even after it takes it.
This the basic difference. Republicans believe that that if you let the wealthy spend capital it will make Americans prosperous. Democrats believe that the federal government investing in the healthcare & education of our people will make America prosperous & productive.

When Don told us that Ray-Ban Meta glasses gave him his independence back, we knew we had to help every blind veteran in America do the same. In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, we’re humbled to share that in partnership with the @BlindedVeterans, @Tunnel2Towers, @HomesForOurTrps, and many others, we’re giving @Meta glasses to the blind veterans who have sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Important to note 10 years ago this would've been a Democrat US Senator meeting with these guys. If you wanted a visual and there's many out there of how much our politics have changed this is surely one of them.

The thing about Platner’s badness that sticks out from the other rascals in politics is how RECENT and REPETITIVE it is. This is not a guy whose irresponsible & malicious days are in the foggy exceptions of distant youth.

Another woman, with left-wing views, comes forward about her experiences with Graham Platner. She joins several others to confirm he’s been lying about not knowing about the meaning of his Nazi tattoo until recently. He also was apparently engaged while sleeping with her.

It became partisan in 2006, when only 4 Democrats voted for Alito. In 2009, 9 Republicans voted for Sotomayor. Gorsuch got 3 Dems, Kav 1, Barrett 0. Back in Clinton’s day, his judges were getting 40-ish Dems.

Buttigieg: Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that there have to be nine Supreme Court justices. That one doesn't even take a constitutional amendment. It just takes a readiness to set up a court that fits this country.  We could have 13 seats matching the district structure of the federal judiciary, but also a process that makes it less partisan. We cannot have partisan warfare every time there's an opening on the court

This is why our counter-punch ad “Snacks” worked so well in 2024. In a fight between Bob Casey & Snack Food Industry workers, PA voters were only going one way. youtu.be/qbtRnyG4o5g?is=7GQk…
Everyone always talking about “talent density” in Silicon Valley when we really should be talking about how 80% of pretzels in America come from a small region of Pennsylvania

Maybe the foreigners have it right. Maybe the eagle and the flyover and the canyon and the kindness of a stranger with car keys really are worth crossing an ocean to see. Maybe, watching them fall in love with the place we take for granted, we could fall in love with it again ourselves and decide to be a little more charitable to the neighbor God told us to love, even when we cannot stand how he votes. ewerickson.substack.com/p/th…

Democrats love Graham Platner's badness....but the only question that matters is how independents think, and Susan Collins rings the bell on independence in the Senate. My take for @CNN:

My point is it’s the whole story. The Kavanaugh confirmation did not do Dobbs - Roberts/Barrett did (which I’m happy about.)
That is in the story, Brad
510
Tell the full story: Collins voted for Kagan, Sotomayor and opposed Barrett. This attack at its core faults Collins for voting for Roberts, which 22 Democratic Senators didz
New: Brett Kavanaugh takes on a starring role in Maine’s Senate race Platner and Democrats plan to re-weaponize Susan Collins’ pivotal vote to confirm him; in 2022 he cast a pivotal vote to nuke Roe. Collins indicated in 2018 he wouldn’t do that. She’s said she was misled on that front but stood by her vote. Her campaign says Dems are repackaging “6-year-old leftovers” that failed in 2020, all to “distract from the complete dumpster fire happening on their side of the street.” And there’s another Kavanaugh link in this race that is ruffling feathers. @natashakorecki & me: nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

He was equally unsuccessful buying the Florida Gov race for Charlie Crist in 2014. The only thing Steyer has ever succeeded at was making money on burning coal.
Tom Steyer spent $558 million over the last six years on two races to remain a private citizen.

The Tennessee Democratic Executive Committee, sitting as the state primary board, just invalidated 2 May primaries due to absentee ballot shenanigans. And keep in mind - this is a crime where the crooks are usually empowered with policing themselves.
Replying to @SeanTrende
What verified cases of election fraud have happened in the U.S. since 2000? NC-09 in 2018 is one example. What are the others?
