Katherine is an OUTSTANDING grants manager!
Moving to the South after a decade abroad was a bit of a culture shock for Katherine Tse. The @USC_HSPM grants coordinator has found all of the upsides though, including a love for college sports. #StaffSpotlight ow.ly/M0Ek50VeLaG

Our new study in @HSR_HRET (led by @tgiannouchos) finds that contrary to the idea that people are frequent ED users b/c they can't access care elsewhere, frequent ED users have higher rates of health care use across the board vs. non-frequent ED users. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…

Earlier this year, Phil Singer, @bradwrightphd, and I published a piece in @JHPPL looking at 1332 waiver activity from 2019-2023. We looked how the Trump 1.0 administration used waivers to try to accomplish some of their #HealthPolicy priorities, and how Biden changed course.

Thoughts from me and my colleagues @DebraCurtisDC We’ve made it to Election Day 2024. In the not-too-distant future we hope to know the results. And when we are at that point, there's one thing we hope we can each hold true: love thy neighbor. Unconditionally. Not: “so long as they support my political positions.” Not: “but only if they didn't vote for <insert name here>.” Certainly not: “I can love someone who is one of us, but I can never love someone who is one of them.” Nope. It can’t work that way. Unconditionally really means what it means. When this election is over, if we want a better America, that would go a long way toward helping to achieve it. Sure, it will feel lonely some days like you're the only person out there practicing and meaning love thy neighbor, but we can personally promise you, you won't be alone.
