ALT A photo of my poem in the Winter 2025 Anthology from Querencia Press GENDER IS A GALAXY i wanna be a soft gay boy i am a soft gay boy but also not a soft gay boy i am air i am nothing i am warm i am a star but a bendable star a five-pointed thing that stretches out and out and curls around itself and is soft and furred like a kitten a rabbit my small paws tap planets across the galaxy like marbles across a linoleum floor i shine and i caress and i purr and it is music to many ears i am A Boy but not quite a boy, not always a boy i am nothing and i am everywhere you can see and touch and love me, but not all the time sometimes i am just the wind, just empty space, the bare-boned death rattle hiss of leaf-shucked wintry trees as they are harassed by snowstorm breaths and bonfire smoke and grabby mitten hands.
