Reading an earlier Star Wars script, and it's really fun how much Lucas clearly loved the binocular surprise bit, to the point that it made it all the way to final film with the Tusken Raider ambush.

I love Turok, I love the original comics from the 50s, I'm a MASSIVE fan of his creator Gaylord Du Bois, a Christian from upstate New York who was born in 1899, I love Jim Shooter and his Valiant update of Turok, I loved the video game as a kid, and I love this podcast!!!

Eg. Turok was not created by Matt Murphy it was a Du Bois creation, the first one is a Young Hawk story which was rewritten. Du Bois's voluminous account books, which are all at Michigan State University, confirm this.
