Today @oliviachow officially becomes mayor of Toronto—something that makes me hopeful for this city. Whether you voted for her or not, I think most agree things needs to change in TO. So give her a wave of support if you see her riding around on her flower-festooned bike. 💐

All you need to know about Ana Bailao is that she is the “move the Science Centre” candidate and has Nick Kouvalis handling her campaign. This and much else suggests she is carrying water—and may well carry off waterfront—for Doug Ford.

The Ana Bailao @TorontoStar profile that has some charging bias isn't good. Mainly notes from people who like or work for her. Main takeaway: Bailao is the status quo, promising to make no changes while the city declines and she calls that "pragmatic." It's shit. #TorontoMayor
