Pete Crow Armstrong is one of the best hitters in baseball when he holds the bat with his abductor pollicis brevis in his right hand…. He’s one of the worst hitters in baseball when he holds the bat with his opponens pollicis…. There is a trickle down effect on the entire musculoskeletal system and it all starts with what hand muscle contracts last at the top of the stance… Abductor pollicis brevis on left vs opponens pollics on right

I believe in fairness, inclusion, and giving talent the opportunity to shine. He would be welcome to referee in Olivia Chow’s backyard. I will be writing to FIFA to let them know he is welcome to referee there.

A lot of people have been asking me for my opinion on Paul Skenes, and I feel obligated to say something. He is not a top 20 SP at this point. If you disagree, I have to wonder if you even know what a motor tract is 😉
Paul Skenes's last 4 outings: 5.0 IP, 5 ER 5.0 IP, 4 ER 5.1 IP, 1 ER 4.2 IP, 3 ER Skenes seems to be undergoing the first rough patch of his MLB career.

Imagine you're in 3 OCs, and another person who did 8 OCs happens to randomly be in all 3 of them. And that other person drops a star player in 2 of them - Riley Greene and Konnor Griffin - players who nobody in the other 239 leagues has dropped.

That person had bench catchers in both leagues that he chose to keep; Carlos Narvaez and Gary Sanchez, as well as two healthy active starting catchers. But he chose to drop the star players anyway. Weird.

Shifting from primary use of Motor Tract 1 to Motor Tract 4 is a big red flag. Let’s see who’s really paying attention.
Ben Rice is 10 for his last 66 (.152) and has lost 67 points on his batting average since May 3.. Ben has gone from using motor tract 1 muscles on his right side to motor tract 4 instead….. Slumps happen to everyone regardless of motor tracts but it’s a lot easier to swallow a bad stretch if you’ve ran into some tough pitching for a few games as opposed to self induced mechanical issues that prevent you from competing with your best…. MT4 on left vs MT1 on right

50% balls, 33% walk rate, 90 MPH FBv. Has he set the bar low enough that this is a good sign?

Cole the next time he’s forced to face this Single-A superstar
This is what being hit intentionally looks like. I have no context to what happened, I don’t need it. Honestly there’s no reason a big leaguer (rehab) needs to hit a minor leaguer.

Angels reporters should do some digging on Jordan Romano getting released after the game following this interaction with Kurt Suzuki… (hint, hint, nudge, nudge)

It’s not blaming 3 guys who had nothing to do with it, @BreakingBen_T It’s blaming a company that has no process to mitigate server issues. In the future if you have advice for me you can say it to me directly instead of on a podcast, otherwise it doesn’t come across as advice.

Your oven tripped the breaker that the @TheReal_NFC FAAB server is plugged into
Sure, FAAB is great, but have you ever baked 3 honey wheat sourdough loaves, 3 twenty five rye loaves (technically not baking, but cold proofing now) and sourdough bagels while doing FAAB?

Man I really thought Hunter Brown was an A health grade guy. I suppose he throws hard but otherwise seemed like a clean bill. Only a handful of guys had better health grades preseason.

Glad you liked the FAAB discussion a mere hours before it ran on NFBC platform. x.com/mike_kurland/status/20…

Replying to @GekkoIndustries
haha. It was a good show, hope it becomes a regular thing with you and @Mike_Kurland . Entertaining and lots of good intel. Sometimes folks need a reminder to think for themselves.

Good thing the intern sent a last minute message!
🚨 Intern at Gekko Industries pinged me last night claiming Bryan Woo was available in @TheReal_NFC Main Event FAAB leagues Naturally, I checked Gekko Supercomputer, and it spit out qualified data from 9/7/25 through 4/5/26 Glitch in the matrix, or does intern deserve raise?

.@DerekCarty Any chance to get MLBIDs put into the BatX weekly projections? Every week there are new players with no previously known Rotogrinders ID that are needed in order to match them up with existing player profiles (names alone often don't work).

The player shares list you haven’t been waiting for. Ryne Stanek gets my “This Year’s Clevinger” award; counting on a bunch of saves, but destined to destroy my ratios and provide no value. Honourable mentions for the award go to Taylor Rogers, Lucas Erceg, and Chase Silseth.

There might be more impending UCL tears on the 55.6% group than my entire Tommy John Draft roster.
