We are always improving our playground and we would love to say a big thank you to Nathan at Ace Alloys Lancashire for lots of tyres and Victoria at Camfil for donating pallets. These will come in very handy. #broadwaybroaderfamily

We love how these children told their parents that they need to look after the planet and decided on their own accord to go on a litter hunt. We are really grateful for all of our children's contributions to keeping our community tidy. Keep up the great work!! #broadwayfamily

We are in need of some pallets for our outdoor area. These need to be in great condition. If you have any lying around then please drop them off at school, Thank you #broadwayfamily

After the storm the other week, there does seem to be a large amount of litter around. 🌍😢 Here is a wonderful Broadway family litter picking on the path next to school. They filled their bag that much that their bag began to rip! 👍 well done #broadwayfamily

In art this term Year 4 have been making sculptures, this has included working with soap, wire and this week with recycled materials, using techniques such as weaving and layering.

We welcomed a special visitor today who came to teach us about Sikhism. We learnt a lot about this religion in an active and enjoyable way. The children tried on the 5 K’s and she taught us much more. Thank you for visiting us, we had a great time #broadwayfamily

Eco council have been busy again, hosting another assembly this time about global warming and they had a visit from @SamaraBarnes1 our local councillor to help with a community project. To find out more, check out our Facebook. #broadwayfamily

It was fantastic to hear our choir children on Rossendale radio this morning. Some of our teachers and children were lucky enough to see the radio team in action and sing live. Merry Christmas everyone. We hope you have a wonderful time. #broadwayfamily

Our year 6 class arranged a reverse advent calendar where they created a hamper to donate to one of our house charities @raftfoundation. We were delighted to welcome them into school to accept our donation. We hope this will be used to help many families in need. #broadwayfamily

What a fantastic morning we have had in our celebration assembly. Look at how many 100 club readers we have had! It is amazing. We are also blown away by our Y5 and Y6 athletics team achievement coming 2nd place out of 38 schools! Keep up the great work! #broadwayfamily
