Say x = {a, b}. Top uses a, bottom uses b:
Then (a - 1)/(1 - b) = 1 → a - 1 = 1 - b → a b = 2
Therefore any pair where a b = 2 works. x = {0, 2}, {0.5, 1.5}, {-3, 5}, whatever…
