The Dallas Cowboys had a top five offense last year. On the pod, @nate_tice made a (convincing!) case that they could be even better this season 👀

The kind of beautiful unity that makes you want to drive a warship through land-locked Times Square? That's just the Knicks championship energy.

Tyler Reddick on the points battle as he is 19 points ahead of Denny Hamlin for the regular-season points lead. The next two weeks could be pivotal as Reddick typically is stronger on road courses than Hamlin. @NASCARONFOX

Brent Crews had never raced Pocono before today, so a second-place finish was a solid day even if not a win. He also is back in the top-12 in points.

Jon Machota: “what stands out to you the most about this new (Christian Parker) defense?” Dak Prescott: “a lot” There’s one other significant note that stood out to me though… the fact they’re already “making it hard” on a 10 year vet who’s widely regarded as one of the 3 most cerebral QB’s in the sport just a few days into voluntary minicamp. —the Cowboys defense personnel is hardly familiar with Level-1 install & it’s harder on him already? You catchin the dame drift @jonmachota 🤔

Sam Presti on the NBA’s new reformed lottery rules. “And so there's a lot of things about the NBA that are not simple, right? The teams are going for billions of dollars. There's an amazing amount of attention on the games, but people don't know the clear path rule. People don't know what the gather rule is really. People don't know how the second apron works, right? So I think we should be concerning ourselves with what's the best solution, not what's the simplest.”

Cheryl Reeve on what they identified in scouting to see Olivia Miles as one of the two players that the Lynx identified having a “generational skill” “What I said on draft night is that there were two players that had generational skills, I would now classify her(Miles) as a generational talent… I think it’s really easy to identify great passing because there’s not a lot of players that are great at it so instinctually so. And then with Azzi(Fudd) the quick release her actions and scoring the basketball, you know, incredibly valuable… I think in the scouting process when you can repeat something over and over and over again and has been doing so in Livs case for a long time, it’s just a matter of can you figure out the pro game in terms of pace and physicality and all the stuff that goes with it, and that’s the part you don’t know… we thought for sure she’d be a really good back up point guard(laughing)”
