I had an amazing, fun day at the FIFA Celebration in Copley Square, which hosts a giant soccer ball! Boston is one of the host cities, and tonight Haiti is facing Scotland at Boston Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. A lively parade filled Boylston Street with vibrant rhythmic Caribbean music played by local musicians, while an enthusiastic, joyful crowd of Haitian fans joined in the celebration, accompanied by our mayor, Michelle Wu. 😀⚽️🎶✨👍👏🙏

Boston is the epicenter of the United States' 250th-anniversary celebrations, hosting yearlong events honoring the American Revolution! Key milestones include the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Esplanade, the Sail Boston tall ships gathering, and the ⁠Boston 250 municipal initiative. A stunning sun halo lit up the sky over the Byzantine-style dome of the Christian Science Mother Church in Boston today. For many, it’s seen as a symbol of the sacred connection between Heaven and Earth. For me, it’s a sure sign of the Divine presence guiding my life! ✨🙇‍♂️🙏

When I cycle the Dr. Paul Dudley White Bike Path on the Cambridge side of the Charles River, I pass the spot where the May 11, 2026, Memorial Drive shooting took place. This is the spot where the gunman was wounded and fell to the ground. When the Parole Board allowed Brown’s early release from MCI-Shirley under supervision last May, the following was recorded. “Subject has completed Violence Reduction, Criminal Thinking, and the bachelor’s Program at Tufts University. Subject suffers from MH disorder w/PTSD, Depression and Anxiety and taking medications on a daily basis. Subject was smoking THC while in community as a  tool to increase his appetite. Subject is remorseful about the part he played in the offense.” (It should be noted that six of the seven members of the Parole board were appointed or reappointed by our current Massachusetts Governor, Maura Healey.) Shutting down our state mental institutions has left prison as the only option for safely housing individuals with serious mental disabilities. ☹️🙏

My son Brian, who died 10 days after coming home after serving a 13-month prison sentence, died of a heroin/alcohol overdose. He had just turned 34. He struggled with manic-depressive illness and disliked taking his medication, Abilify, because it numbed him. He always signed his letters, "Love Always and Forever." He is now at peace with our Lord, watching over me. ♥️💔✝️🪽🙇‍♂️🙏
