These are completely different. This level of lift coast has been a reality of F1 racing for more than 10 years. The power unit saying "LOL bye 40% of your power because you tried to zoom last lap" is just garbage.
Stop having such strong opinions on things you don't understand.
This is why ive always found the "the new f1 regs make the drivers have to lift and cost this isnt proper motorsport" arguments so dumb
