Tomorrow will be the 3rd anniversary of the passing of Justin Hardy.
The most viewed episode of the Q-cast is my December 10, 2021 conversation with Justin, who was playing for @WashUBasketball while battling stage 4 stomach cancer.
Justin's only request for the interview was "You can ask about my diagnosis, but not my prognosis. I'd like this to be about how I'm living...not about how I'm dying."
If you want to know what courage looks like, this episode is worth your time. I'll never forget Justin's positivity and the smile on his face all 51 minutes. (Link below.)
It was a huge honor Justin asked to share his story with the world on my silly podcast. I got to meet him in person just 9 days later in St. Louis, when he started and led WashU to a victory over #2-ranked IWU. We texted and talked until about 30 day before his passing...when he got too sick.
Amazing and inspirational human being. My thoughts are with Bob, Karen, the whole family, and all who loved Justin.

Wartburg Athletics representatives at the annual American Rivers Conference postseason banquet as Wartburg claimed the All-Sports Trophy for the 21st-straight year!!
Wartburg won the A-R-C All-Sports Championship Trophy, which recognizes the conference's top overall program. This equates to every year of the award's existence, which began in 2002-03, not counting 2019-20 and 2020-21 due to Covid-19 and the cancelation of seasons.
The Knights also won the Elmer Hertel Men's All-Sports Championship Trophy for the 26th time and the Marjorie Giles Women's All-Sports Championship Trophy for the 19th time!
