I'm steering clear of politics on here, so this will be my one & only statement about it.
I can't look my kids in the eyes and tell them I value empathy, kindness, preparation, thoughtfulness, and integrity if I were to vote for Donald Trump. He has none of those qualities.

The problem here isn't speech-to-text specifically, we've had speech-to-text systems, like Dragon Dictate, for decades. Running that speech through a generative AI which may take liberties with the output is a very different thing.

One of the unexpected challenges of working in "team space" is the loss of audible notifications. My colleagues don't need to hear every beep and chime from my devices so I have them silenced...but that means I don't get them either.
