Hello. This is Lee Junyoung. I’ve been thinking for months about where to begin with this letter, hesitating again and again, and finally decided to write the letter myself. This is already my 10th draft. Haha! As of now, you’re probably getting ready to sleep after watching episode 6 of Reborn Rookie don’t you? Thank you for watching today as well. I’m writing this letter because I thought it would be better to tell teachers this news directly rather than through an article. I never imagined I’d be the one delivering this news in my own words. Yep! I will be enlisting on July 21st. Until before I received the exact enlisting date, I was thinking, “Ah, it’s no big deal. I’ll just have to go” but the moment I had the date in front of me, I suddenly found myself thinking a lot. I also agonized quite a bit over how I should first let my teachers know. As I write each word like this, the burden in my heart feels a bit lighter. I will serve healthy and as my true self, and come back well.
