emma d’arcy says rhaenyra’s “innate targaryen madness” is no longer being held back in season 3:
“In season one, Rhaenyra was plagued by doubt: she questioned her right to rule, what kind of ruler she should be, and whether her father was even right to name her heir in the first place. […] I think this growing fanaticism does indicate a marked changed in character. For the first two seasons, doubt kept her innate Targaryen madness in check - by season 3, that moderating force has fallen away.”

"fire and blood is difficult to adapt" WRONG. f&b is perfect to adapt. it gives you the basic core events, character traits and relationships while allowing room for creative liberty to fill in the blanks. the problem is that they keep choosing not to even respect the basics

Dragonseeds played one of the most important role in the battle of Gullet. If not for them Dragonstone was gone that day.
For fighting bravery in gullet, Rhaenyra awarded them knighthood, land and titles.
We won't see Addam. Thanks to the clown condal.

🚨 | SPOILERS do 1° episódio:

- Com as informações fornecidas por Alicent sobre o paradeiro de Aemond, Rhaenyra envia as Sementes de Dragão para Harrenhal com a intenção de emboscar Aemond com fogo de dragões.
- Depois de Rhaena reivindicar Sheepstealer, ela passa um tempo presa em uma montanha, enquanto Sheepstealer a abandona repetidamente. O vínculo se fortalece e Rhaena alça voo com a sua montaria.
- Aegon e Viserys (filhos de Rhaenyra) não são mencionados em nenhum momento do episódio.
- Jace convence Baela a acompanhá-lo na batalha da Goela. Sheepstealer aparece inesperadamente e começa a incendiar os navios Velaryon. Acreditando que o cavaleiro do dragão é um inimigo, Jace e Baela acreditam que estão sendo atacados por um cavaleiro de dragão inimigo e tentam derrubar o cavaleiro. Eles só param quando percebem que a cavaleira de Sheepstealer é Rhaena.
- Vermax acaba sendo capturado sendo arrastado para o oceano. Jace fica preso em sua sela enquanto o dragão luta sob as ondas. Jace consegue se libertar e nada até a superfície se agarrando a um pedaço de destroço de navio.
- O episódio termina com o corpo de Jace sem vida flutuando sobre a água.
- Antes da batalha, Rhaenyra desesperada para agir esmurra a porta tentando escapar. Uma criada traz um de seus vestidos — um vermelho — e Rhaenyra o destrói, rasgando e perfurando o tecido enfurecida.
- As Sementes de Dragão não participam da Batalha da Goela.
- Vermithor, Silverwing e Seasmoke aparecem rapidamente ao longo do episódio.
- Alicent fala várias vezes que se arrepende da guerra e pela devastação que ela trouxe para sua família e para o reino.
- Alicent e Aemond discutem viajar juntos para Harrenhal. A conversa termina com os dois trocando um beijo.

They completely removed Rhaenyra's desperate, paranoid mother arc by aging down Aegon III and giving her a new arc. Now, even toddler Aegon is being sidelined from the show story. Hope Ryan Condal and Sara Hess never get hired again after writing this sh!t.

I hope that in future adaptations of ASOIAF, @HBO hires better, more reputed showrunners and writers or at least someone who is devoted to the source material. Ryan Condal and Sara Hess are mediocre writers, their work does not befit HBO's standard in any way.

Don't understand what goes inside the head of clown condal and Sara hess when they write such scenes? Even with Daemon and his mother. Why do they want viewers to talk only few second scene ignoring all the good scenes? They did same in S2.

Only if Addam knew both vermithor and Tessarion were riderless.But again GRRM had to kill most of dragons somehow.
I think Silverwing was his favourite that's why spared her.
But sure they will twist the incident in the show like they did with every other event

In the book it was just opposite. Even being captive in kings landing, she had hope that Aemond will come to rescue her. After Aegon II again took kings landing, she was chief advisor to him. Advising all bullsh!t ideas leading to his death.

Now I am sure Aegon III won't be with Rhaenyra during her final moment. They may include Alicent to fulfill the favourite arc of clown condal. They already made 10 years old Aegon III toddler in the show.

Aegon III flew on his wounded dragon stormcloud to Dragonstone and alerted everyone about attack. Jace went along with other dragonseeds to stop the attack and rescue his brother viserys and died.
Aegon III always regretted leaving viserys behind.
Clown condal really messed it.

Aegon II who was so fearful of Baela that he always kept her in chains after fall of Dragonstone. Tried to kill her atleast two times.
Baela whose grandmother was killed by greens. Her brother (viserys) was presumed killed.
I think nothing more left for Ryan condal to mess.
