Just a shout out. Did anyone get any images of me playing with my @zeiss_micro at @GlobalBirdfair this year? If so, any chance I could use one?

It’s very US centric but this article is about a subject everyone should know about - PFA’s in clothing. Paràmo have been making non-toxic outdoor clothing for years. heatmap.news/lifestyle/rainc…

Great news @naturescot have approved the release of European beaver into the @cairngormsnews these rodents, will bring great benefits for all. Stabilising banks, invigorating plant life (including trees!), reducing flooding & improving biodiversity. Welcome back we’ve missed you.

Classic crap story about more nature disconnection. The issue originally was about plants growing over footpath (fair enough) but it’s become a ludicrous case of scaremongering Don’t eat ‘em! Or better still teach the kids to identify and understand them. bbc.com/news/uk-england-suff…

Who’s going to the @GlobalBirdfair this year? I will be hosting an ‘audience with @IoloWilliams2’ Has anyone got any good questions you want me to ask him? Like, what he really thinks of sheep? What’s his favourite cake? … or perhaps something more pithy?

Kicked off my 2023 #cairngormnaturefestival @CNPnature with @BC_Scotland and my first wild Kentish Glory - such a cracking moth. I bred them as a kid but never seen this rarity in context. It’s not all eagles & mountains you know!

My local patch Speyside in the Cairngorm national park is a cracking place to be in August… the hills are purple with heather, there’s a buzz about the place. It’s also the best time to see Osprey before they head South. Come and join me. nickbaker.tv/british-wildlif…
